Pop Music

21 Aug

Now, normally, I’m not a huge pop music girl. I tend to make fun of it actually. I don’t listen to mainstream radio (especially around here. Blech) and I don’t watch Much Music or MTV often. Never really have. But the first time I heard “Umbrella” by Rhianna, I liked it. I’ve always thought Rhianna was pretty talented, especially considering her age. Umbrella blew me away. Still wouldn’t buy the album, but it was a cool song.

Now add Mandy Moore who, aside from being in Saved, which I LOVE!!!, kinda irritates me. Well, she covered Umbrella, and I thought it was lovely. I never realized the lyrics were so, well, pretty and sweet.

Now feel free to make fun of me for today’s questionable taste in music.
