7-10 days

4 Jul

Thor asked me to sign in here and give everyone an update: she is going to be in hospital for at least the next 7-10 days, according to the latest news we have.

I’ll post more news when I have it.

obviously she’s not in much shape for the internet right now, but I’m sure she appreciates everyone’s support.

As someone who’s been exactly where you are now, you have my prayers with you daily. Hang in there kiddo. Hang in there.

dear thor, i hope, i wish fervently that you have someone there who finally gives a damn about how you feel and what you say and who will make an effort to find the right thing for you and that you will come out of that hospital with a better medication and some hope for the future.

i’ve been thinking about you all day, wishing so hard …

  3. Suburban Mum July 4, 2007 at 12:48 pm #

    Thinking of you.

I second Bine’s comment and will be checking in frequently for updates. I’m overwhelmed with relief and peace knowing you are in a safge, healing place. Think of it that way, darlin’- just a time out of time to dwell in yourself and allow your body and mind to heal. You’ll be better monitored while your meds are adjusted and you will be able to focus on you without distraction.

    Much love, Roxy

Hang in there, babe. I’m sending lots of un-ironic loving fuzzy thoughts and good wishes. I hope the docs can get you the right mix of meds. When they do, things will be good.

I’m actually relieved since this seems to indicate that they’re taking things seriously. I’m praying for all of you.

I’m glad you are in safe hands. I really hope the docs can get their shit together and get your meds right, I hope you get some relief from the very obvious pain you’ve been in.

I am a relatively new visitor here at Spin Me, but please pass on my love and best wishes to Thordora. What she has done is scary, but very brave. I wish her peace.

Hopefully, you are in safe and capable hands that will help you straight out your mood swings. In the meanwhile, I hope all of our prayers and good thoughts give you strength, since yours has been waning. I don’t think anyone will mind you borrowing ours.

I am so relieved that everyone is safe. I hope you get the treatment you deserve, thordora. hugs.

You’re smart, you’re courageous, you’re self aware. I hope things straighten out soon.

  19. Amy July 4, 2007 at 8:11 pm #

Good for you, Thor – it took a lot of strength to go to the hospital – a lot. That’s what is going to see/get you through anything else life might throw at you.

  20. landismom July 4, 2007 at 8:38 pm #

Thor, I’m thinking of you and hope you are well. You are a fine, strong woman.

  21. Eden July 4, 2007 at 11:15 pm #

Wishing all of you love & light

  22. feartheseeds July 4, 2007 at 11:53 pm #

Lean heavily on the flesh and blood of the family that surrounds you and take advantage, without question, of the support of those people who love you and want to help. Be as honest as you can with the doctors and yourself, and if they’re still using those menus where you check off what you want for the days meals, always see if you can get away with signing it twice… there may come a time when you’re going to want chicken instead of lasagna.

  23. misspudding July 5, 2007 at 1:15 am #

If you think what you’re going through now is tough, just think of what you’ve been through. You’ve already proven yourself to be one of the toughest women I know…reach in there and use that strength that you’ve used for years, and I’m certain you’ll get through this. It’s going to be a tough road ahead. We’re all ready to help you, when you need it.

  24. sweetsalty kate July 5, 2007 at 8:54 am #

Courage indeed, thor. You’ve done the absolutely right thing.

Love to you too, Mogo, and the girls.

I’am one of Missy’s friends, and she mentionned that you are feeling on the down side. I understand that it’s about going to the hospital.

You take care and I’am wishing you all the best.
