Poor, pitiful me.

5 Mar

I have to get a root canal.

Sympathy please. Copious amounts of sympathy.

That is all.

Here. See it all? It’s a big pile, really.

Yeesh. Would you like the sympathy at once, or time-released?

I can give you as much sympathy as you need…just remember to get the Vicadin…extra strength if they’ll give it to you.

It makes the bad feelings go away, at least for a little while.

Holy shnikes. Sorry to hear that. Anna had her root canals pulled at some point. And her silver amalgams. She had bad health in her 20s and getting her teeth redone by a doc in Wisconsin helped her a lot. Good luck to you, Thor.

I have really horrible teeth – genetics and a little trauma to start things off. I broke my front teeth – both absessed and were root canaled and then the 2 on either side went – this was all before I was 20. Then they messed up numbing me and I felt 4 crowns being put on. Then my mouth rejected the metal pin put in my fragile little front teeth. They ended up cutting the roots off. Then my bite degraded as my jaw absorbed the dead teeths roots, until at the end I have a bridge, 10 root canals, and 12 crowns total.

You have my sympathy… I require drugs for much of anything beyond a cleaning.

    Good luck.

I have perfect teeth. Never had braces. Barely had a couple of cavities. It’s genetic (Mom’s got great teeth; my grandmother died with all of her original teeth and no cavities).

Dad, on the other hand, has had about twenty root canals. The man has always taken impeccable care of his teeth and yet, he looks like Shane MacGowan of the Pogues. Poor Dad.

Ahh, but did I mention I have seizures? Luck of the draw. Good luck.
