There’s a little person in my head isn’t there…

11 Jan

I had the most messed up dream last night. I dreampt, vividly, that I was at some shrink’s office, and trying to explain that the Celexa seemed to be working aside from some…digestive issues, and as I tried to explain my little victories like not running out and buying stuff I didn’t need just to buy things, and not eating like a hog just cause I could, she kept tut tutting me and getting angry, and chastising me for not remembering things in order.

I kept blurting stuff out because I was excited and happy that something seemed to be working, joyful because I hadn’t had a bad thought all week, and she just kept getting mad as she tried to write stuff down, and madder still because I hadn’t talked to her about starting the Celexa.

So folks, is my brain out to get me?

It sounds like (subconsciously) you feel like you’re being silenced or want to communicate something but feel like you’re being shushed. Like someone is trying to impose order and logic onto you and you just want to be happy instead.

That’s my take on that dream.

It literally feels like there’s a pissed off other me in my head who’s upset that it can’t “play” anymore.

And maybe it’s the death of my easy excuses. Who knows…

if you are taking this Celexa, then perhaps you’re afraid it won’t continue to work? like you want to feel happy and excited but you are afraid to and the fear manifested into the shrink.

Reg, you might have it on the head.

I’ve been feeling so great and, well, NORMAL lately that I’m deathly afraid of it ending.
