Question…

Anyone know anything about procedures surrounding writs of execution in Ontario?

Goodbye NaBloPoMo.

So I made it through November, posting everyday.
Woot me.
Is that really meant to be a huge accomplishment?
I’ve never much believed in the value of “pressure” testing or performance. Aside from sex perhaps. (Then again, that’s a completely different type of pressure altogether) Is there true value in knowing the dates when all the prime minister [...]

Why is it that No Post Day for Gabe means work for everyone else? How typically male is that?
 Anyway, I’ve been tagged:
Assignment: Think of THE song that most inspires you to write, whether it gives you an idea for a story, script or just puts you into a better frame of mind AND/OR peek into [...]

When I was a kid, we didn’t do too much in the way of Christmas stuff. My mother was crafty, but lacking in the patience department. She was a talented seamstress, could tailor anything, and yet didn’t make any attempt that I recall at teaching me how to sew. The only thing I remember her [...]

Things on my mind….

Posting once a day is easy for me, except when I’m sick. Then I carp and moan about my sickness, procrastinate posting and ultimately end up with a pile of poo on paper. (or theoretical paper, as the internet is)
I have pulled yet another muscle, this time in my shoulder. Perhaps I’m swimming the butterfly [...]

in breaking news…

I still feel like hell. The cold has decided to hover between my sinus cavities and my chest. When I cough sometimes I can taste blood. However, it seems like the fever has broken, which is a good sign, so I think I’ll hold off on the doctor for now. Hopefully the relative peace my [...]

Someone I know is currently embroiled in an unpleasant case of husband cheating on her, with a side of manipulative ass thrown in. They have children as well, which makes the entire thing just that much worse.
If there is one thing in life that I find morally repugnant, it’s cheating on a lover. Even more [...]

Tell me…

I have a question over here. Help a girl out.

Mogo often wonders why I read the terrible stories, the ones in which the brutal deaths of children are recorded in details that make the bile run up from my stomach into my mouth, the stories in which I can hear the phantom children begging, pleading, screaming.
The thought of them begging their mothers or fathers [...]

Rot you bastards

ROT.
I don’t believe in hell, but for people like these, I wish I did.

Again? COME ON!

I’m sick again. AGAIN. WTF is up with my body? Can someone answer that question? Surely to crap this should be over and done with! My entire head-I could feel it filing up as I lay in bed last night.
I’m never sick this long. What in hell is going on? There’s still no point in [...]

Remember, awhile back…

So remember awhile ago when my friend Tess came to visit? Well she FINALLY sent the pictures. (and yes dear, that is my subtle way of giving you shit. )
Vivian gave her shit as well.

She recovered though, and posed for her audience.

Good thing Tess is just so darned cute.

Cuter than me in fact. [...]

Having Bipolar, being bipolar, means it’s likely you experience moments of blinding rage. I have. There are holes in walls to prove it, holes I barely remember making. Rage sweeps you up, takes you on a ride, feeds itself through your own anger, sustained by the emotions of those around you. Only the thinnest threads [...]

Crrrrrrranky.

Im stupidly cranky today, for no apparent reason.
I need a vacation-somewhere alone, quiet and surrounded by miles and miles of nothing. I lust for silence and just me in a cornerness, even if I’m just sitting there playing herd a word on facebook, so long as it’s quiet and I have nothing to do and [...]

Busy Day

Holiday stuff, you know-sleeping in, gingerbread houses, sucky Xmas parades.
And I mean sucky. Sure, this isn’t Toronto, but still, if the best you can do is inflatable Santa’s and lights on a truck, what’s the point? EFFORT people. EFFORT still matters.
I’m tired, and kinda cranky, so I’ll just go to bed now. kthxbai.

I hope you all had lots of turkey and pie yesterday.

I have the Fidel Castro of head colds. It will not die, relent or change course. It’s hanging on for dear life, and making me cranky, tired and just plain irritable.
As an outgrowth of this cold, I have a pulled muscle in my neck from sneezing. You heard that right.
When I get sick, and I’m [...]

Next time, can someone warn me?

I just spent some time using the NaBloPoMo Randomizer, and I think my brain might explode.
Bad poetry, details on what one is eating for dinner, monotonous rants about what someone’s child got at the mall, pompous “mission statements”, blinding layouts and blinking flashy things, along with creepy religious babbling.
And that was just the first 15 [...]

Well….well well well

It being Thanksgiving and all (and I AM giving thanks to the fact that ALL of my american coworkers have the day off and I can split out early), I should show you what someone decided to award me with.
Nyjlm at So Love is Hard and Love is Tough gave me this:

And apparently, there are [...]

And no, it’s not Thanksgiving here. We had ours in October, and Canadians don’t get all weird and weepy and obsessive about it like Americans. Although I do envy the day after sales.
Have a great day, eat lots of food that’s bad for you, and prepare for the Christmas onslaught.
